How can you support the mission of
Ngpf?
The Narrow Gauge Preservation
Foundation is a registered 501(c)6 organization. This means donations to
the Foundation are fully tax-deductible. We suggest contacting your
financial advisor to see what affect donations will have for your tax
situation.

The Foundation's first priority is to establish a premier museum where
the narrow gauge story can be told. We are preserving historically
significant models, artwork, stories, published materials and photos with
narrow gauge connections for future generations. The Foundation will
preserve and exhibit narrow gauge materials as space and relevance
permit. In some cases where the Board of Directors concurs, items donated
to the NGPF may be disposed of. These items may be donated to another,
appropriate group, or they may be sold and the funds received used for
work of the NGPF.
Hard-cover
books detailing the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad and the Durango &
Silverton Railroad are available from the NGPF. Proceeds from the sale
are used to fund NGPF programs.
Cumbres
& Toltec by Sam Furukawa features 237 dramatic photos of America's
premier narrow gauge living museum. The book is the result of Sam
Furukawa's longtime fascination with the C&TS. Hard cover, 176 pages,
most in color. $49.95
Sam covers the
line from Antonito to Chama, chasing regular operations and special
trains. The magnificent scenery is highlighted in a series of spectacular
pictures shot from a helicopter during the color peak of the 2006 fall
foliage season.
Cumbres & Toltec and Durango & Silverton are published by
the Narrow Gauge Preservation Foundation.
D&SNG
trains and locomotives, the people who run them, and the superb scenery
they traverse are the subjects of the photographs in this book. The
history of the line has been covered in many other volumes, so the photos
here seek to portray this breathtaking railroad as it operates in the
21st Century. Hard cover, 176 pages, most in color. $49.95
Sam covers the
D&SNG from the ground and by helicopter for a unique view of this
much-photographed railroad. These are not-to-be-missed views found
nowhere else!
