Who is involved:

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Foundation is administered by a Board of Directors. All of its present Directors have long associations with narrow gauge railroading and modeling, and the Directors all serve without compensation.

is Editor and Publisher of the Narrow Gauge & Short Line Gazette, the premier magazine devoted to narrow gauge. For 30 years the Gazette has documented the history of these railroads in articles, plans, and photos, and the magazine serves as a nucleus for the narrow gauge fraternity. Bob has been building narrow gauge models for over 50 years, and has also assembled a significant collection of models built by pioneer narrow gauge modelers.

is a well-known narrow gauge photographer and modeler. He has made significant contributions to the formation of the Foundation and to its predecessor, the Narrow Gauge Trust Fund. Retired from a long

career at the Microsoft Corporation, Sam now devotes a major portion of his time to recording the operations of the surviving narrow gauge lines, particularly those in Colorado and New Mexico.

served on the advertising sales staff of Trains and Model Railroader magazines for many years. An avid On3 modeler, Fred remains close to the model railroad industry, where he has served as President and Executive Director of the industry's trade association.

has written numerous articles and books on narrow gauge topics. He spent 22 years as an editor at Kalmbach Publishing, publisher of Model Railroader, Trains, Classic Toy Trains, Garden Railways,, and FineScale Modeler magazines. Bob has been building narrow gauge models in several scales for over 40 years.

is active in railroad preservation efforts in both narrow gauge and standard gauge. He was a founding member of the Slim Gauge Guild, and spends several weeks each year traveling with ATSF 4-8-4 No. 3751 on steam excursions. Fred is an owner of The Original Whistle Stop hobby shop in Pasadena, California, and Thinfilm Decals.

serves as Executive Director of the Foundation. Getz is a long-running columnist for the NG&SL Gazette, and has long been active in the annual Narrow Gauge Conventions. Charlie is currently a Director of the National Model Railroad Association, and has been building railroad models for 40 years.

NARROW GAUGE MUSEUM COMMITTEE

The goal of the NGPF is to establish a museum dedicated to narrow gauge modeling and history interpreted by models, art work and artifacts. The NGPF has collected many significant items toward a start for this museum.

is chair of the NGPF Museum Committee. John has spent 32 years with Walt Disney Imagineering as a designer and field art director working in all five Disney theme parks. He is very familiar with producing displays that effectively draw in and educate (as well as entertain) the general public. John is a noted narrow gauge modeler and has produced several books and numerous magazine articles on the subject.

serves as an advisor for color and specialty finishes for the Museum design. Katie has been with Walt Disney Imagineering for nearly 30 years as a building finishes specialist, color stylist, and field art director.
