Four decades ago, college pricing was simple, straightforward, and reasonably affordable.  Today, college prices seem simultaneously sky high and totally opaque. Although the public perceives college admissions offices to be powerful gatekeepers to adult success, the view from within the enrollment management profession tells a very different story.  This presentation will pull the curtain back on how college sticker prices shot through the roof while demographic shifts and a faustian bargain pulled the rug out from under the college admissions office.
