ASU COURSE ENROLLMENT & COMPLETION STEPS
Receive accepted scholarship status from NGPF and the go-ahead to proceed with ASU sign up paperwork
Complete ASU sign up paperwork. This includes paying a $70 enrollment fee to get an ASU ID, completing a FERPA form, and completing a form allowing enrollment in the course.
ASU officially enrolls you in the course. You receive a welcome email from ASU with instructions on how the course will run on its start date.
Over 7.5 weeks, complete the asynchronous course work for the graduate course online.
ASU calculates an average completion rate of 1 module per week for the first 5 weeks and time to review and take the exam after that. Weekly email reminders are sent to participants behind the average completion rate for any particular week.
STEPS AFTER COURSE COMPLETION
Grades are finalized by the ASU instructor(s) and published in Canvas. ASU emails you that grades are finalized and sends you a digital badge. NGPF also publishes a congratulatory blogpost.
If applicable, ASU emails a copy of the graduate certificate
Once grades have been finalized and available to view on Canvas, requesting a transcript and requesting that CEUs be processed will become available within 2-3 days.
If applicable, ASU emails a copy of the applicable graduate certificate for educators. A core graduate certificate for educators is issued for those who have completed both Investment Management and Risk Management. A specialization graduate certificate for educators is issued for those who have completed Psychology and Technology in Personal Finance.
