Get Prepared for Big FAFSA Changes in This Week's Virtual PD

In past years, the FAFSA opened for applications October 1, but this year it will not be available until December. Attend our Virtual PD on Tuesday to find out more about this and other major changes to the FAFSA so you can guide your students and their parents as they navigate the process. Additionally, don't miss your chance to win a free copy of Chris Corinthian's book when you attend this month's Author's Corner with the founder of FinLit University.

With the FAFSA undergoing a massive revamp, we’ve made all of the updates that we can to lessons and activities, including an increase in interest rates on loans and changes to terminology. However, due to this schedule change, we will make additional updates to the Paying for College unit in December as the new FAFSA form is released. Attend our PD to get more details on the major changes outlined here and what to expect from NGPF.

This week’s NGPF Author’s Corner is an opportunity to hear from Chris Corinthian. Chris has worked for over 15 years in higher education in the areas of financial aid, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. After working with thousands of students, he realized that there were certain repeatable steps that students could learn to take so they could graduate debt-free or close to it! Join us on Thursday, October 5, 2023 to hear from Chris and possibly win a free copy of his book!
