While most of your students LOVE social media, educators have mixed feelings about its place in the professional workplace.

Now, with data in hand, here's a quick summary of the results:

  • Over half (53%) of respondents indicate that they use social media to find teaching resources and to follow professional organizations
  • Facebook is the most used platform for educators using social media for professional use, with Twitter following in second place
  • Educators overwhelming report that they'd like to see more resources for their classrooms (82%) and resources that increase their knowledge of content (72%) via social media
