A Searchable Database of our Favorite NGPF Blog Videos

As we develop new resources — blog posts, complete lessons and units, activities, etc. — we constantly ask ourselves, “How an we make personal finance teachers’ jobs easier?” Because, trust us, we know that teaching well is time consuming and a labor of love. So, not too long ago, Tim had a great idea: Let’s make a searchable database of the videos we’ve featured so far in our blog posts.

It’s the end of the school year, and videos can be a great way to:

  • Hook your students at the beginning of a lesson
  • Re-teach a concept as you review for final exams or projects
  • Reinforce concepts, in an engaging way, while half your class is attending Field Day or prom
  • Prompt student discussions on whether they (dis)agree, interpreting speaker’s point of view, recognizing bias, etc.

Click here to access the Video Library from Next Gen Personal Finance.

And the how-to video above shows you how to navigate our database using keywords or the column filters.

Thus far, our top views have been pieces on student loan debt (timely, relevant, always in the news), but we’re interested to know which video(s) you like the best. Let us know in the comments below!
