Summer 2019: FinCamp PLUS

This year, as part of our 50 FinCamps in 50 States initiative, we've met many passionate, innovative, and enthusiastic educators who are bringing the very best in personal finance education to their students every day.
 
So, now, what's better than spending one day devoted personal finance education? Spending THREE days, of course!

After our hosting our first 3-day FinCamp PLUS in Wisconsin in June 2018, educators identified their favorite parts as:
 
  • The opportunity to see and explore content that I didn't know existed along with the opportunity to share out those resources and talk with other educators.
  • All the new resources and ideas I have, not just for my personal finance class but for other classes as well.
  • The well-curated and valuable resources along with collaboration with other top teachers.
For summer 2019, we are expanding our FinCamp PLUS locations and are excited to invite you to join us at one of the following FinCamp PLUS events:
 
  • Birmingham, AL: June 17-19
  • Madison, WI: June 17-19
  • Des Moines, IA: July 10-12
  • Alexandria, VA: July 10-12
  • Bridgewater, MA: July 22-24
  • Little Rock, AR: July 24-26
  • Kansas City, MO: July 29-31
  • Houston, TX: July 29-31
  • Garden Grove, CA: August 5-7
  • New York City, NY: August 26-28

NEED TO KNOW DETAILS

  • Do I need to find my own accommodation?
    • No! Accommodation is provided for 3 evenings for each FinCamp PLUS. Each participant will enjoy their own room.
  • Are meals provided?
    • All meals will be provided, except for dinner on the evening of the first day
  • How many teachers will be attending professional development?
    • We will limit each FinCamp PLUS to 40 teachers to ensure a personalized experience. Register ASAP.
  • What do I need to bring?
    • Your enthusiasm, your ideas, your energy, and a laptop or tablet!
  • Do I need to have attended a FinCamp in order to attend this FinCamp PLUS?
    • No! 
  • A FinCamp PLUS is not offered in my state. Can I attend one in another state?
    • Yes. A limited number of out-of-state attendee places are available for each FinCamp PLUS.
