Summer Curriculum Updates!

As we head into the summer months, we hope you find some time to relax, recharge, connect with family & friends, attend a few online PDs, and reflect on an unprecedented school year. We know many of you use the summer months to plan ahead, so we wanted to give you some information on curriculum updates, new releases, and other curriculum-related projects the NGPF Team is currently working on.

Curriculum Updates

The Curriculum Team will be updating several units this summer. The NGPF courses, workshops, and lesson plans will not see substantial updates but there may be slight changes to specific lessons due to the unit updates we've scheduled below. You can expect the Activities, Case Studies, and Data Crunches in these units to be fully revised and updated by the end of the month that is listed:

  • Insurance - July
  • Paying for College - September

The following units have already been updated: Budgeting, Types of Credit, Managing Credit, Savings, & Checking. They are refreshed, simplified, organized, and guaranteed to spark joy in your classroom next school year!

New Curriculum Releases

Three exciting new product releases will also be taking place this summer.

Middle School Curriculum

Two more units in this new 9-week course will be released in early July. The final release will take place in August, so all units and assessments will be ready to use for the new school year! A New Release: Middle School VPD will be held on July 6th.

MATH Collection Release

Are you looking for more math activities to use in your personal finance classroom? Engaging math-focused activities, similar to our existing MATH activities, will be released in both July and August!

#NearpodIsComing

Nearpod lessons for both the 9-Week and Semester Course are being developed. Look for more details regarding release dates throughout the summer!

There are several beginner-level, intermediate-level, and advanced-level Nearpod VPD sessions being offered throughout the summer and fall. VPD details and signup are available on the NGPF Online PD page!

We hope you are as excited about these curriculum updates and releases as we are. Have a great summer!
