My Classroom, Episode #3: Beyond the Classroom

NGPF’s My Classroom is a 10-15 minute weekly podcast series that will follow the lives and classrooms of four rock star teachers and NGPF Fellows.  Each one is from a different area of the country, a different type of school, and currently teaching in a different environment (virtual, face-to-face, hybrid)  but are determined to make their learning environment as great as it can be during COVID.

In Episode #3 Kerri, Tony, Courtney, and Julius share how they support students outside of the classroom, managing their own after-school activities during COVID and how they work with students to balance their schoolwork and involvement in sports, activities, and part-time jobs. We will focus on Julius, a former McDonald’s All-American game coach, and specific advice he has for life beyond the classroom.
