FinCap Friday: The Cost of Car Ownership

Buying a car is often one of the first big financial choices young people will face. Along with signing loan papers and choosing their dream car, there’s another layer many don’t see coming... the pressure to buy add-ons like GAP insurance, credit life insurance, and extended warranties! While these products are optional and rarely used, dealerships are skilled at making them sound essential. This creates a perfect real-world teachable moment for your classroom! Use this week's FinCap Friday to inform students and help them understand there are consequences to uninformed choices, and they can last for years!
