Updated for a New Year: Paying for College Unit

FAFSA season is here! We’ve refreshed the Paying for College unit so you and your students have the latest 2025–26 information, and we’re fully up to date for the 2026–27 FAFSA that just opened!

 

What changed for 2025–26

  • Federal loan interest rates are updated across all NGPF resources
  • FAFSA documents reflect the most current version for the 2026-27 FAFSA
  • Pell Grant details are current as they remain unchanged from last year. The 2025–26 maximum Pell Grant is $7,395.
  • Student loan debt and the cost of attendance data is updated in all resources
