How Much Do Your Subscriptions Cost?

Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify…how much do all of your subscriptions cost you per month?

This Subscription Cost Visualizer easily lets you add up all of your subscriptions and see how much they cost you per month and per year. Plus, you can visualize the outcome in various ways to see which are the least and most expensive.

How to Use the Interactive:

  1. Open the interactive and add all of your subscriptions.
  2. Click on the black “Generate Grid” button at the bottom to see your results.
  3. Choose how you want to see your total costs by selecting “Grid”, “Swarm”, or “Bubbles” at the top. Note how much you pay in total on a monthly and yearly basis.
  4. You do NOT need to click on the “Never miss a renewal” button as this prompts you to go to a 3rd party platform

Questions:

  • What are your total monthly and annual costs for subscriptions?
  • How does seeing all of your subscriptions together make you feel?
  • Did you sign up for all of these subscriptions around the same time? Over time?
  • Do you think you still need all of these subscriptions? Explain.
  • What modifications, if any, do you need to make to your budget? Explain.

Follow this interactive with the video, Subscriptions Everywhere! Clean Up Those Forgotten Monthly Fees, found in NGPF’s Online Shopping Pitfalls lesson.
