Hats Off to the First 51 Personal Finance Educators to Earn a Personal Finance Graduate Certificate from ASU

Please help NGPF congratulate the FIRST 51 educators to receive a Personal Finance Graduate Certificate for Educators from Arizona State University, which were presented today! After completing NGPF’s Investing, Advanced Investing, Credit, and Insurance certification courses, these participants were awarded NGPF scholarships to take two graduate courses with Arizona State University because of their dedication to personal finance education.

In August 2023, Arizona State University W. P. Carey School of Business began a partnership with NGPF to create a personal finance certificate program for K-12 teachers, allowing them to earn college credit for professional development. The program consists of two online courses: Investment Management for Educators (3 credits), which focuses on a framework for planning and implementing investment strategies, and Risk Management for Educators (3 credits), which focuses on identifying, measuring, and mitigating sources of risk.
