Each course combines nine hours of sessions focused on a core personal finance content area with a one-hour final exam. These courses are 100% free and most states that track professional development accept them for state CEUs.
A: NGPF currently offers 12 Certification Courses: Advanced Investing, Banking & Budgeting, Behavioral Economics, Career, Credit, Consumer Skills, Cryptocurrency, Insurance, Investing, Paying for College, Psychology of Money, and Taxes.

A: Each course is part of a cohort that is 3 or 5 weeks in length. Cohort dates are listed on the NGPF Certification Course webpage.
A: NGPF Certification Courses are designed to deepen your content knowledge. They're a great way to boost your confidence in a specific area, brush up on content, and earn digital badges you can showcase in your email signature. Plus, most states that track professional development accept NGPF Certification Courses for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
A: The NGPF Distinguished Educator award goes to teachers who pass six or more NGPF Certification Courses. Each Distinguished Educator receives a physical plaque, a digital badge, and recognition on the NGPF website for demonstrating dedication to their craft as a personal finance educator. This is a lifetime award that you can work toward over multiple NGPF Academy years.

She is a passionate advocate for financial education and has been a long-time member of the NGPF community. Fun fact - Amanda was NGPF’s first teacher account! When Amanda isn’t working, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling with her husband and two children.
