NGPF’s activity, Why Going to Concerts is Harder Than Ever, dives into why concert tickets are so expensive. Students will learn how the different players in the industry - from the artists to the venues to the ticket vendors - play a role in shaping ticket prices. 

Students will:

• watch a video from Business Insider's So Expensive series
• identify the specific factors of production that impact a product or service’s price
• answer a few thought-provoking questions

Note: This episode contains some brief swearing and expletive hand gestures at the 10:35 and 25:00 minute marks.
